My old School

Last weekend I went back to Kuching. My deary old hometown. Attended some parties, funerals and nothing much. I was a bit bored so I went back to my old school St. Joseph's Kuching to play basketball.

Wow I guess somethings change and somethings still stay the same. First let me introduce my school as I know it, it is an all-boys school except the sixth-formers which we have ladies, however the sixth formers doesn't matter. I would say we're a school of gentlemens, or that's what we hoped to be.

However there was one thing I noticed in my school compared to when I played in UPM. The players in my school was freaking loaded. They were using all these brandeds gears and were dressed up to the nine's as I would say. At that time I was just using my old worn out nike shoes and some unknown brand of pants. I felt outclassed. The worst of all was the Form 1 and form 2s, there were wearing original Le'Bron James Nike apparels. Jeez, do we really need that much commercialism.

As anyone would expect, we would expect them to be cocky and proud. I got the exact opposite, I talked and reminisce with the students. They were courteous and friendly. Most of the people outside of St. Joe would expect us to be cocky. I guess sometimes we are but deep down were just like you and me. Nothing much and nothing more.

I would say it was kinda of fun playing with them. Nice smooth rubbery ball to play with that's one and I guess the basketball rim in St. Joe is a bit short. Lastly I got to reminisce the time when I used to play ball when I waited my dad to come home from school.

Ah.. memmories.

What's going on?

I'm busy alright.
